How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your Opeego account and all associated data directly from the Opeego app website. Follow these steps:
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Log in to your Opeego account at app.opeego.com
- Open the side panel (typically located on the left side of the screen)
- Scroll to the bottom of the side panel to find the Admin options
- Click on "Admin" to expand the menu
- Select "License" from the Admin options menu
- Find and click the "Delete Account" option
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the deletion of your account
Important: Before You Delete
Before deleting your account, please ensure you have:
- Downloaded or exported any data, files, or content you wish to keep
- Notified any team members or collaborators who may need access to shared content
- Completed any pending tasks or workflows
Once your account is deleted, this action cannot be undone.
Data Deletion Timeline
When you delete your Opeego account, your data is removed according to the following schedule:
Immediate (Upon Account Cancellation)
All of your content will be immediately inaccessible from the Services. You will no longer be able to log in or access any of your data.
Within 30 Days
All content will be permanently deleted from active systems and logs. This includes all data stored in our primary databases and active server systems.
Within 60 Days
All content will be permanently deleted from our backups. After this point, your data cannot be recovered under any circumstances.
Data Recovery
We cannot recover your information once it has been permanently deleted. If you change your mind after deleting your account, you must do so within the first 30 days after cancellation. After 60 days, all data is permanently removed from all systems, including backups, and recovery is impossible.
Data That May Be Retained
In certain circumstances, we may be required to retain some information for legal or regulatory purposes:
- Billing Records: Transaction records and billing information may be retained as required by tax and accounting regulations
- Legal Obligations: Information that we are legally required to retain for compliance, legal proceedings, or regulatory requirements
- Aggregated Data: Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained for analytics and service improvement purposes
Any retained data will be kept only for as long as legally required and will not be used for any other purposes.
